What counts as plant machinery?
Dozers, motor graders, wheel loaders, articulated and rigid dump trucks, rollers, compactors, scrapers, telehandlers and water carts. If it is an excavator or a compact loader we have separate sites for those, but send it here anyway and we will point you to the right one rather than leave you guessing.
How do you work out the price?
We track realised auction results across Australia, so the number is based on what machines like yours actually sold for — not what dealers are asking. Operating weight, hours, undercarriage or tyre condition, machine control and documented service history are what move it.
Does machine control add much?
On a dozer or a grader, yes — a working 3D system is a substantial premium because it saves the next owner both the hardware and the install. It is also worth telling us if the machine is only prepped, with masts and wiring but no receivers, because that is still worth more than nothing and sellers often do not mention it.
Who pays for the float and the permits?
We arrange both and quote them before you commit, so the cost is visible up front rather than appearing at the end. Oversize plant needs permits and sometimes pilots, and that is our problem to solve, not yours.
It has done a lot of hours. Is it still worth sending?
Send it. On heavy plant, documented servicing and oil sampling history change how hours read — a high-hour machine with a full record and a recent undercarriage can be worth more than a lower-hour one with no history at all.
Can you take a whole fleet at the end of a project?
Yes, and that is often the cleanest version of this. Put the list in the message field with rough hours against each. Pricing a package usually beats clearing machines one at a time, and the floats get cheaper per unit.
